Engineer-Administrator at SDU Big Data Department

Required work experience:

Duties:

  • Working with design documentation, including file manipulations on the script (software code) level for data optimization and standardization;
  • Structuring information and its reduction to a single sample of large data volumes;
  • Communicating and interacting with employees of government agencies, and also updating data pursuant to the requirements;
  • Arranging meetings, sessions with the Company`s employees/public officials and documenting decisions made;
  • Assisting the team in execution of required documents;
  • Developing performance assessment criteria structure for processes, functions and services;
  • Developing technical and design documentation;
  • Executing analytical and practical work with aim to gather, assess and analyze the obtained information and prepare recommendations;
  • Familiarizing with in-house regulatory documents of the Company, including information security technical standards and compliance with those.

Requirements:

  • Higher professional education
  • Knowledge of business analysis theory and requirements management process, availability of practical skills for execution of business analysis, requirements management and documentation;
  • Knowledge in the field of gathering, storage and processing of data, and also understanding of data storage structure in DBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, MongoDB, Oracle, etc.);
  • Availability of theoretical knowledge and practical experience in one of the following areas (work with data, DBMS administration, programming);
  • Work experience with the state databases is an advantage;
  • Knowledge of normative legal acts regulating operating activities of the Company.
  • Knowledge of standards in the field of information technologies (in regards to application):

- ST RK 34.019-2005 Software life cycle processes;

- ST RK 34.005-2002 Information technology. Basic terms and definitions;

- ST RK 34.014-2002 Information technology. Set of standards for automated systems. Basic terms and definitions;

- ST RK 34.015-2002 Information technology. Set of standards for automated systems. Statement of work for development of an automated system;

- ST RK 1087-2002 User guide;

- ST RK 1090-2002 User Requirement Specification.

  • Analytical thinking, modelling ability, ability to cover a task in its entirety, patience, attentiveness.
