announces a competition for vacant positions: Director of NIT JSC Representative Office in Almaty region (Konaev city), Director of NIT JSC Representative Office in Abai region, Director of NIT JSC Representative Office in Ulytau region.

Candidate specification

  • Higher professional education. Specialty: Technical sciences and technologies (Radio engineering, electronics and telecommunications; Information systems; Automation and control; Information technology; Computer engineering and software; Instrumentation engineering; Thermal power engineering; Electric power engineering; Mathematical and Computer modeling; Space technology and Technology; Transport, transport equipment and technology; Aviation technology; Technical Physics; Technological machines and equipment (by industry); Natural Sciences (Mathematics; Computer Science; Mechanics; Physics; Nuclear Physics); Economics and Business (Economics);
  • Total experience no less than 7 years, with at least 6 years in the field of activity, including at least 5 years in executive positions;
  • In the presence of Master's Degree, work experience no less than 6 years, with at least 5 years in the field of activity, including at least 4 years in executive positions.

Functional duties

  • Managing the activities of the Cyber Monitoring and Incident Investigation Department (hereinafter: Department). Planning the unit work, solving organizational and technical issues for the execution of the tasks;
  • Ensuring the quality of tasks execution by unit;
  • Controlling the labor discipline of unit employees and compliance of employees to the Rules of Internal Labor Regulations. Carrying out activities aimed at strengthening labor and performance discipline;
  • Assigning responsibilities between unit employees, creating conditions for successful performance of their duties;
  • Conducting primary, repeated and unscheduled training on safety and labor protection at the workplace for unit employees;
  • Searching and selecting employees for vacant positions; Conducting interviews and evaluating the applicants;
  • Developing and updating unit regulations, job descriptions, work plans, KPIs for employees;
  • Developing, updating and adjusting documentation based on unit activities (instructions, rules, regulations, business processes, etc.);
  • Drawing up reporting forms and controling timely provision of the reports;
  • Controlling execution of work plan, KPIs of employees and other documents of unit and the Company;
  • Timely consideration of incoming correspondence; Distributing incoming correspondence between unit employees depending on the area of responsibility, competence and workload; Drawing up letters/memos; Checking and correcting draft letters/memos of unit employees;
  • Considering technical documentation, functioning schemes and other information security issues within the competence of unit;
  • Arranging meetings and participating in meetings on the activities of unit;
  • Identifying and assessing risks affecting the achievement of the objectives set for unit, as well as information security risks related to unit activities;
  • Controlling project activities related to unit operation;
  • Developing and updating unit services;
  • Promoting unit services. Searching and attracting new customers (GA, LEB and other organizations) for the information security services delivered by unit;
  • Verifying calculations for unit services, technical specifications and other documents submitted to potential customers;
  • Arranging and controlling instrumental surveys of informatization facilities and providing survey reports;
  • Arranging and controlling connection of log event sources to SIEM systems;
  • Arranging and controlling execution of other works and services of unit within the framework of the concluded revenue contracts of the Company;
  • Arranging and controlling timely provision of all necessary accounting documentation (acts, reports, minutes, etc.) for the complete execution of the Company's revenue contracts;
  • Arranging and controlling work on accounting and inventory of goods and materials on the balance sheet of unit;
  • Arranging and controlling work on round-the-clock monitoring of logs of events and incidents of information security coming to the SOC; Arranging and controlling work on registration of information security incidents and response to them;
  • Arranging work on investigation of information security incidents, as well as participating in their investigation;
  • Arranging and controlling work to verify the security of informatization objects (Pentest), as well as the source code of the IS;
  • Arranging and controlling compliance with information security requirements within the competence of unit;
  • Arranging and controlling interaction of unit with other structural divisions of the Company on issues within the competence of units and other organizations on issues of interaction and exchange of information about threats, vulnerabilities and information security incidents;
  • Participating in scheduled and unscheduled inspections of the Company to check compliance with information security requirements, issuing recommendations for the elimination of nonconformities, controlling elimination of the latter;
  • Signing and approving documents within the competence.

Desired expertise and skills

  • Availability of professional certificates;
  • Knowledge of foreign languages;
  • Knowledge in the field of information security.

Job conditions
