Electronic foreign permit forms for Azerbaijan, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan now available on the elicense.kz portal
Kazakhstani freight carriers can now apply online for an electronic entry permit to Azerbaijan, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan. The range of destinations available for obtaining foreign permit forms through the elicense.kz portal has been expanded accordingly.
A foreign permit form (FPF) is a document granting a Kazakhstani carrier the right to transport goods through the territory of a specific foreign country. Kazakhstan exchanges such permits with partner countries on a bilateral basis.
"For carriers, this means fewer visits to government agencies and more time focused on their business. The "e-Licensing" platform continues to evolve and expand its services so that as many permitting procedures as possible can be completed online”, said Yerzhan Aktayev, Deputy Chairman of the Public Services Committee under the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The service is available to Kazakhstani carriers (both legal entities and individual entrepreneurs) whose vehicles are registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan and who are authorized to perform international road transport operations.
To apply for the service, users need to:
- sign in to the elicense.kz portal and go to the "Transport" section;
- select the service "Issuance of permits for transit through the territory of a foreign state to carriers of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with international treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan" and click "Request Online";
- specify the region/city and select the government agency;
- enter the organization's BIN, the representative’s full name and position;
- complete the legal entity registration details and address, then click “Next”;
- add vehicle information and specify the required foreign permits (country, permit type, permit form category and quantity);
- following verification through the Ministry of Transport’s information system, an electronic FPF will be reserved;
- pay the service fee and sign the request using one of the available signing methods.
The service delivery period is 2 working days, after which the permit is sent directly to the user’s personal account on elicense.kz. The permit remains valid for 30 days from the date the notification is received in the user’s personal account. The service fee is 1 MCI per permit form.
The functionality was launched thanks to the cooperation of the Public Services Committee under the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, National Information Technologies JSC and Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
