For the first time Kazakhstan exported its solutions in the field of digitalization toTajikistan

For the first time, Kazakhstan exported its IT solutions in the field of e-Government development to Tajikistan. Thanks to a grant issued by "KazAID" Kazakhstan Agency for International Development, the number of IT projects developed by National Information Technologies JSC was exported. The projects include: "Smart Bridge", "Single platform of government agencies` websites" and "Smart Data Ukimet" information and analytical system.

Within the framework of the Declaration on Allied Cooperation signed by the Presidents of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tajikistan, work is underway to transfer Kazakhstani experience in the development of information and communication infrastructure to Tajikistan. Thus, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in the field of e-Government platform systems transfer.

In pursuance of this memorandum, a team of technical specialists from National Information Technologies JSC along with colleagues from the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan are currently carrying out a technical assessment of the digital maturity of the country's ICT infrastructure and the possibilities of implementing Kazakhstani IT solutions in Dushanbe.

On December 21, 2023, the NITEC JSC team assisted in transfer of e-Government components to the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan. Digital maturity assessment and implementation of IT solutions is a comprehensive process that includes research, analysis, planning and implementation of new technologies and systems. The technical team began to carry out these tasks by reviewing the existing information systems of Tajikistan, as well as studying the experience and practices applied in Kazakhstan. Preliminary results show that this joint initiative promises to be successful and beneficial for both parties.

Below are the main capabilities of the exported IT solutions:

Smart Bridge is a platform facilitating integration between the information systems of government agencies and business sector.

Smart Data Ukimet is a set of tools enabling to monitor economic growth, implement state programs and establish a single big data platform as the basis for digital transformation of the country.

The single platform of government agencies` websites is a platform for citizens combining all the websites of government agencies into a single structure with a user-friendly interface and facilitated navigation.

Earlier, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev set the task of increasing the export of IT services up to one billion dollars by 2026.
