Janarmai petrol card in the Halyk Homebank application enables refueling at a reduced price

Now, one can issue a virtual Janarmai card in the Halyk Homebank app and buy diesel fuel at a reduced price without presenting a driving license and/or a vehicle registration certificate.

The module was implemented thanks to integration of information systems of Halyk Bank, Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, MDDIAI of the Republic of Kazakhstan, National Information Technologies JSC, Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and State Credit Bureau under a pilot project on selling of diesel fuel at a reduced price for which state regulation of prices is established.

The Janarmai virtual card is available in the Halyk Homebank app to all the citizens who own a vehicle and/or have the right to drive. Previously, it was possible to purchase fuel only upon provision of paper version of a driving license or a vehicle registration certificate at a gas station.

In order to refuel profitably, in "Public Services" section of the Halyk Homebank app, one need to select the "Janarmai petrol card" and fill in the necessary parameters: driving license number or license plate. Afterwards, a virtual petrol card is issued. This service is also available to legal entities.

It is easy to use the card. One just needs to provide the number of a petrol card and SMS code confirming a purchase to a cashier of a gas station.

It should be reminded that according to the differentiated pricing policy established by the Government, drivers-citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan can buy diesel fuel at a reduced priced up to 100 liters per day at a price of KZT 230/260 per liter (depending on the region) upon presentation at a gas station of a driving license issued in the Republic of Kazakhstan. As for the owners of trucks, specialized vehicles and buses, they can purchase fuel in the amount of up to 300 liters per day at a price of KZT 230/260 per liter (depending on the region) upon presentation of a technical passport issued in the Republic of Kazakhstan. For other categories of individuals as well as when buying more than the specified limits, diesel fuel will be released at a price of KZT 450 per liter.
