New version of the eGov mobile app available to users

The updated interface, e-Licensing services for individuals and a convenient feedback form have become available to users of the eGov mobile app. Also, twenty of the most popular public services of the eGov.kz portal are available in the new version of the mobile application.

Today, public services can be obtained in a few clicks on a smartphone via the eGov Mobile app. The eGov Mobile app capabilities are expanding to minimize public services delivery term and switch to digital format.

Thus, about 400 public services are available in the eGov mobile app, and by the end of 2022 it is planned to transfer up to 80% of all the public services to smartphones.

Along with the updated design, it became possible to use the Digital Documents service even without an Internet connection through authorization using digital signature keys.

Today, the Digital Documents service in the eGov Mobile app contains 18 documents (national ID, driving license, vaccination passport, PCR test and birth certificate, etc.).

"The eGov mobile app is in great demand among citizens and makes it possible to carry documents "on a smartphone". Since launch, the Digital Documents service has been used more than 47 million times. Today, we have introduced a new and user-friendly interface that our users can appreciate. Those who have previously logged in using digital signature, can use digital documents without the Internet, that is, users will always have access to them," said Rostislav Konyashkin, Chairman of the Board, National Information Technologies JSC.

More than 20 public services of the eGov.kz portal have been added to the new version of the application, among which: issuance of a certificate to determine the address of real estate objects on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, issuance of certificates of custody and guardianship, issuance of certificates to WWII participants, etc.

For the convenience of citizens, a new "Real-life situations" section has been added, which is brief useful information on a specific topic. This service enables citizens to save time when searching for information and apply for the public services they need.

In case if a digital document contains incorrect information, it became possible to submit an appeal to a relevant government agency via e-Otinish by clicking "Report an Error" button.

The most important update is that more than 250 e-License services have been added for individuals, namely: notification of the presence of activities as sole proprietors, approval of land management projects for the formation of land plots and issuance of a phytosanitary certificate for the call of quarantined products outside the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"This year, NIT JSC team plans to transfer 80% of public services to the smartphones. Also, following the Order of the Head of State on reduction of paper workflow, it is planned to implement the service "Digital Information" using which citizens will be able to get abstracts in the most convenient way and be able to provide an abstract to whom it may concern via e-mail, messenger or QR code without having to print it out", highlighted Rostislav Konyashkin, Chairman of the Board, National Information Technologies JSC.

The new version of the eGov mobile app is available on the App Store for iOS users and in the Play Market and App Gallery for Android users.

The updates became possible thanks to the cooperation of Public Services Committee under Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and National Information Technologies JSC.

For reference:

A digital document is an electronic document generated by a digital document service that is necessary to get public services and other services online, as well as when interacting with individuals and legal entities. The Digital Documents service allows using an electronic version of an original copy of ID document, which enables citizens providing a digital document to government agencies and organizations to get any services (for instance, when buying air and railway tickets, etc.).

Today, digital documents can be used at all the airports of the country, when boarding carriages at the railway stations of KTZ JSC, in Otbasy Bank JSC, CSCs and Beeline branches, as well as when obtaining services in the second-tier banks and at notaries.
