National supercomputing cluster "Alem.Cloud" included in the ranking of the world’s most powerful computing systems

The "Alem.Cloud" national supercomputer ranked 86th in the TOP500, the international ranking of the world’s most powerful computing systems. The ranking includes only those clusters that undergo independent testing based on the HPL (High-Performance Linpack) standard, the global benchmark for computing performance.

Kazakhstani citizens can apply for the service “Reimbursement of Home-Schooling Expenses for Children with Disabilities” through the eGov Mobile application. The service allows users to submit an application for additional social assistance remotely. It is available to parents who organize home-schooling for a child with a disability in cases where attending an educational institution is not possible.

26 November 2025, Astana — The Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan (MAIDD RK), together with National Information Technologies JSC (NITEC) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), has launched the Open-Source Public Organizations Readiness Assessment (OSPORA) programme to evaluate the readiness of Kazakhstan’s government agencies to transition to open-source solutions.

The Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with National Information Technologies JSC, has introduced Alem.Cloud – a platform for submitting applications to use the resources of the eponymous national supercomputer cluster. The Alem.Cloud supercomputer is included in the TOP500 ranking of the world’s most powerful systems, where it holds the 86th position, confirming its status as one of the region’s leading computing centers.
