The seasonal acceptance of documents in the organizations of technical and vocational, post-secondary education has started on the eGov.kz portal. The service has been significantly updated this year to make it more convenient for applicants. The application system now offers new features and filters to help you quickly select an educational institution, avoid errors and save time.

When applying, you can now indicate immediately whether you need dormitory or free meals. Citizens who have completed their military service can attach a supporting document.

One of the key changes was the introduction of a filtering mechanism for choosing an educational institution. The system automatically generates a list of colleges based on the user's selected parameters: region of study, language, subject and speciality. Once you have specified the language of instruction, only educational institutions offering the programme in the appropriate language will be displayed. A separate filter has also been implemented for rural school leavers from regions taking part in the "Serpin" programme.

The application process is only available once, and you can choose from up to four majors at four different colleges. Please note that the maximum size for attached documents is 5 megabytes.

To apply, the applicant needs to:

• log in on the eGov.kz portal;
• go to the "Education" section and select the "Colleges" category;
• select the service "Acceptance of documents in the organization of technical and vocational, post-secondary education" from the list;
• fill-in all the necessary fields and upload files;
• sign the service using one of the available signing methods;
• service delivery result will be available in the personal account - "History of Services Received" section.

The service delivery period is from 3 to 5 working days. The acceptance of documents is carried out in stages, depending on the chosen educational programme and form of study. The modification was implemented thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Public Services Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, National Information Technologies JSC and the Baitursynov National Center for Educational Research and Evaluation.
