Digital Documents can be provided at mobile operator offices

Thanks to Digital Documents service available at eGov mobile app, mobile operator customers might not provide original copies of ID documents at service centers to get services.

Today, those citizens who cannot provide an original copy of an ID document can get services at Beeline service centers. Now, customers can only have an e-Gov app (eGov mobile) installed on their smartphones.

To use a digital document, one needs to download and open eGov mobile app. Then, in Services tab, select “Digital Documents” service and sign-in. Signing-in can be done by means of biometrics or one-time SMS code. Afterwards, select a national ID in the window that opens and click “Provide Access” button.

To carry out with a procedure, a Beeline Manager will scan a QR-code and verify a customer`s identity via biometric data.

“Convenience, safety and promptness of public services delivery is our top priority. Earlier, banks and airports of certain cities have started to accept digital documents and today the capability is provided by one of the mobile communication operators, though MDDIAI is open to all the communication operators and major companies complying with the safety parameters” highlighted Bagdat Mussin, Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry.

Today, 18 documents are available in the Digital Documents service and the most popular ones are as follows: national ID, driving license, vaccination passport, PCR test and birth certificate.

Earlier, capability to provide digital documents at airports, railways stations and when getting services at banks and notary publics became available to Kazakhstani citizens.

The systems integration was performed by Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of RK, National Information Technologies JSC and Beeline Kazakhstan.
