NIT JSC and NIA will cooperate in the field of information and communication technologies

National Information Technologies JSC has signed a cooperation agreement for a period of 3 years with National Information Society Agency (NIA), the company from the Republic of Korea in the field of information and communication technologies.

The signing ceremony took place within the V International Forum "Digital Almaty 2023". The agreement was signed by Rostislav Konyashkin, Chairman of the Board of NIT JSC and Jong-Sung Hwang, President of NIA.

Considering the achievements of two countries in the field of ICT and cooperation perspectives, the agreement will allow the parties exchanging relevant experience in the field of information and communication technologies. 

Cooperation involves joint development of information and communication technologies, use of artificial intelligence, as well as cloud solutions, open data, big data.

"Today, information and communication technologies play a big role in our lives and become a vital stimulus for development of the world economy, in this regard, it is necessary to use these technologies effectively and provide high-quality IT products to Kazakhstani citizens. Previously, NIT JSC team presented its projects and solutions to NIA, we also have familiarized with their solutions, so it will be a mutually beneficial exchange of products and experience in the digital transformation of public administration", said Rostislav Konyashkin, Chairman of the Board, National Information Technologies JSC.

NIA implements various projects aimed at development of economy and society, promotion of interests and strengthening of friendly relations with partner countries. Its partners include such countries as Mexico, Chile, Turkey, Vietnam, South Africa, Brazil, Colombia, etc.

Thus, within the "Digital Almaty 2023" International Forum, NIT JSC will present its projects, in particular "Smart Data Ukimet" project and eGov Mobile app.

Today, 677 public services are available in the eGov Mobile app, of which 203 services are from the eGov.kz portal and 474 services are from e-License Portal for individuals. About 2.4 million Kazakhstani citizens actively use it every month and about 50 thousand public services are delivered each month.

Smart Data Ukimet is an information and analytical system designed for collection, storage and comprehensive analysis of data accumulated in the information systems of government agencies. To date, Smart Data Ukimet contains about 80 replicas of government databases.
