Kazakhstan has unveiled a pilot «Digital Nomad Residency» project that opens up new opportunities for foreign IT professionals. The project aims to attract global IT talent to work and live in the country and become part of its rapidly developing digital economy.

The Digital Nomad Residency program is designed to attract foreign IT professionals. It offers a simplified way to obtain permanent residence permit in Kazakhstan.

Auditors can now apply for a state auditor's certificate online via the eGov.kz portal. The new service is available to individuals and greatly simplifies the certification process, allowing you to submit all the necessary documents online and track the status of your application in real time in your personal account.

The service is now available on the eGov.kz portal and the eGov Mobile application for establishing custody and guardianship over incapacitated or partially incapacitated adults. The innovation greatly simplifies the application process, eliminating paperwork and minimizing the risk of providing false information. The service is free-of-charge for individuals and legal entities.

An adult is recognized as incapacitated or partially incapacitated by a court decision. A potential guardian or trustee can apply for custody or guardianship based on this decision.

Kazakhstani citizens can replace their driving license online using the eGov Mobile application. The service is available in the event of document expiry, loss, theft or change of personal details. Over 7,000 people have already used the service since its launch.

A key feature of the service is the ability to use a photo from an identity card or passport that has already been issued. The main condition is that the document containing the photo must have been issued within the last three years.
