12th Anniversary of eGov.kz portal

On April 12, 2018, e-Gov portal, which was launched as a single access point to public services, celebrates its 12th anniversary.

Since the project launch, National Information Technologies JSC has been working to extend the list of services, which citizens can obtain at home. Thus, for 12 years, the number of services that can be delivered through the portal equals 235 (composite services became available on the portal; 44services are available through one-time password; 38 types of payments are available online for unauthorized users, and also, services without abstracts prоject was launched, which allows requesting popular abstracts by third parties).

Today, over 150 information systems and databases are integrated with e-Gov portal infrastructure, which enables migrating to delivery of composite services in one-stop shop principle, when citizens can obtain a service in one place without necessity to visit several agencies.

As services became more available, the number of registered users is growing. Today, e-Gov portal users are over the 7.4 million citizens. Over 100 thousand services are delivered through the portal every day.

Online services obtainment has a number of undeniable advantages. First of all, it saves time as one does not have to leave home or workplace to obtain a public service.

In UN e–Government Development Index, Kazakhstan is placed 33rd and 7th among Asian countries.
