Foreign diploma recognition now available on eGov Mobile app

The eGov Mobile application now offers a service for the recognition of higher and postgraduate education diplomas obtained abroad. This allows graduates of foreign universities to have their diploma officially recognized for employment or further study in Kazakhstan.
Previously, the recognition process required face-to-face interaction and the collection of paper documents, but now the entire process is available online. This significantly reduces the time it takes to review the application and makes the service user-friendly.
To get the service, the user needs to:
- log in to the eGov Mobile app;
- go to the section «Services» - «Education» and select the service «Recognition of higher and postgraduate education documents»;
- fill-in an application, attach the necessary documents and make the payment;
- sign an application using one of the available signing methods.
The application is considered within the statutory deadlines. As a service delivery result, the applicant receives a certificate of recognition of the diploma in electronic form or a reasoned refusal in the cases provided for by law.
The new capability was implemented thanks to the cooperation of the Public Services Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, National Information Technologies JSC and Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
