Following the decision of the meeting of the Public Council of National Information Technologies JSC (hereinafter: the Council) as of September 17, 2021 No. 2, competition for the selection of the Council member on a non-reimbursable basis is announced.

Member of the Council is to be elected on a competitive basis among the civil society or self-nominated citizens.

Citizens and representatives of non-profit organizations, who wish to participate in the competition, should submit the following documents personally or send them to the e-mail indicated below within ten working days from the publication date:

1) a written proposal of a non-profit organization and (or) a declaration of candidacy for the Public Council drawn up in any form;

2) information about a candidate's professional and/or social activities including autobiographical data (fill-in form attached);

3) statement of no criminal record;

4) a certificate of the presence/absence of mental and behavioral disorders (diseases), including those related to the use of psychoactive substances.

Pursuant toClause 1 of Article 1 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Public Councils” as of November 2, 2015 No. 383-V, National Information Technologies JSC (hereinafter: NIT JSC) plans to establish Public Council under NIT JSC.

The major goal of establishing the Public Council under NIT JSC is to ensure public control and transparency of NIT JSC activities and promote cooperation with civil society.

According to the requirements of the Model Regulation on Public Council (Order of the Minister of Information and Social Development as of February 26, 2021 No. 69), establishment of Public Council under NITJSC is a two-stage procedure.

The first stage involves the creation of the Working Group, which shall establish the Public Council of NIT JSC, while on the second stage the Public Council itself is established.

Under the decision of the Chairman of the Board of NIT JSC, number of members in the Working Group amounts to 6 (six) people, 2 of whom are employees of NIT JSC.

Other 4 members of the Working Group are to be elected among the civil society on a competitive basis/ self-nominated citizens.

Also, non-voting observers representing non-governmental organizations, mass media, government agencies and international organizations are allowed to participate in the meetings of the Working Group.

ANNOUNCEMENT!

Pursuant to Clause 1 of Article 1 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Public Councils” as of November 2, 2015 No. 383-V, National Information Technologies JSC (hereinafter: NIT JSC) starts to establish a new composition of the Public Council under NIT JSC.

At the meeting of the Public Council of NIT JSC as of October 13, 2023 No. 5, it was decided to disband the Public Council of National Information Technologies JSC approved by the Order of the Chairman of the Board of NIT JSC as of August 10, 2021 No. 334 and start establishing a new Public Council in accordance with the Law "On Public Councils".

According to the requirements of the Model Regulation on Public Council (Order of the Minister of Information and Social Development as of February 26, 2021 No. 69) (hereinafter: Model Regulation), establishment of Public Council under NIT JSC is a two-stage procedure.
