NITEC has signed the memorandum and agreement on cooperation in information and communication technologies with the Republic of Uzbekistan

National Information Technologies JSC has signed the memorandum and agreement on cooperation in information and communication technologies with the Republic of Uzbekistan.

With UZINFOCOM, the Single Integrator for government information systems creation and support, the memorandum was concluded, and with Center for e-Government Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan the agreement was signed.

 

In terms of the memorandum, the parties reached agreement on the following cooperation areas:

-  arranging and conducting joint ICT forums, round tables, workshops and presentations, meetings and talks;

-  performing consulting works;

-  creating and developing investment projects;

-  creating, maintaining and developing e-Government systems;

-  carrying out integrations between government agencies’ information systems as well as between government agencies’ systems and businesses;

-  sharing ICT information and experience;

-  sharing information and experience in building up IT services management business processes.

 

It should be reminded that the signing procedure was part of the meeting between Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Zhumagaliyev and First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Ramatov on issues relating to cooperation in terms of “Digital Kazakhstan” program and Uzbekistan’s digital transformation program.

 

23 Kazakhstani companies presented to the Republic of Uzbekistan’s government agencies and businesses 60 IT solutions for e-government, healthcare, education, transport, security, etc.

In addition to IT companies, Kazakhstani party was represented at the meeting by delegations of Ministry of Information and Communication of the Republic of Kazakhstan, National “Zerde” ICT Holding and other organizations.
