Now is possible to find at eGov.kz a bank-paid cheque and get a driver’s license reissued online

02.10.2018, National Information Technologies JSC informs of simplifying the  service named”Obtainment of driver’s license” through theeGov.kz portal. The service was modified in terms of search for cheques that have been paid in a bank before.

Previously, while obtaining this service online, only those citizens could pay who had payment cards.

Now the e-Government portal users, subject to having paid the cheque in a second tier bank, may also apply online for reissuance of driver’s license. To do so, they need to, when obtaining the service via the e-Government portal, tick the “Paid before” box at the payment step and enter  the cheque data for search:Tax office, bank’s BIC, payment date, BCC (Budget Classification Code), PPC (Payment Purpose Code), and the payment amount. They should select the found cheque and sign the request with digital signature.

According to the service’s datasheet, a request for obtainment of a driver’s license shall be processed within 60 minutes.

The service results will be sent in a message to user’s Personal Cabinet on theeGov.kz portal.

It should be reminded that the driver’s license online renewal  service was implemented in March this year. A user has to fill in the application form on theegov.kzand sign it with digital signature. The application should be supplemented with the photo and the scanned signature. Then the generated e-application and the paid cheque displayed in the "Service obtainment history” in Personal Cabinet shall be printed out and submitted to the special-purpose CSC at the place of residence for receiving the prepared driver’s license.
