Three in one: getting a legal entity registered, opening a bank account, and concluding an insurance agreement at one stroke is now possible on eGov.kz

Early in 2018 on thewww.egov.kzportal, the new composite service,”Legal entity registration inclusive of bank account opening and mandatory employee insurance against accidents in performing employment/official duties”.

What does this mean?

While previously a citizen had to first get a legal entity registered (incorporated), then present the certificate of registration to the bank in order to open an account, and also come to an insurance company to conclude the compulsory insurance agreement, now, thanks to the new composite service, he/she may within two business days (not counting the day of application submission) get the certificate of state registration of legal entity, the bank account number, and the signed agreement of compulsory insurance of employee against accidents.

Howdoesthiswork?

In getting a legal entity registered, a user shall fill out the legal entity data on the eGov.kz portal, i.e. the name of legal entity, the number of employees, information on executive, on founders, etc.By doing so, all the founders must have been registered on the portal, because the request shall come to the user’s Personal Cabinet asking to agree upon the application for registration of legal entity.

Furthermore, as part of this service, user is offered a capability of opening a bank account and of compulsory insurance of employees against accidents. A user should select in the list a bank, an insurance company, indicate beneficiaries, and the authorized signatories, then fill out the application form and attach the documents specified on theeGov.

To date, two banks have been connected to the composite service: “ForteBank” and “TsesnaBank”, and also the life insurance “State Annuity Company”.

According to Nazgul Bazhayeva, Deputy Director of e-Government and Public Services Development  Department in MIC, the number of banks and insurance companies connected to this service will grow.
