With a view to simplifying public services obtainment, 20 public services will be accessible on the e-Government portal since July 1, 2017 with no need for digital signature. The very first service accessible through a one-time SMS password since April this year was the issuance of abstract of no criminal record.

15 of  20 services will be accessible through use of one-time password, while for the remaining 5 services only authorization on the portal will be required.

Which services will be accessible using one-time password?

In collaboration with government agencies, the following popular services were selected: abstract of ownership/non/ownership of real estate;  on the registered or terminated title to real estate for individuals; abstracts from movable property mortgage register;on the registered title/encumbrance to real estate and technical characteristics thereof;issuance of technical datasheet for the real estate item; re-issuance of certificates or re-registration of certificates of civil status.

How does it work? A one-time password is an SMS notice that comes to a citizen’s mobile phone after he/she has sent a query. A citizen receives verification code in SMS and is to enter that code intoeGov.kz. Upon a code input, the portal automatically verifies a citizen`s phone number with the one registered in mGov mobile citizens database and, if the phone numbers match,the result of the required service is provided instantly. To get registered in the mobile citizens database, you should accessyour “Personal Cabinet” and indicate your mobile phone number in the “Phone Number” section. Also, you can bind your phone number to IIN through applying to “Government for Citizens” Public Corporation front offices.

Which services only require logging-in to eGov.kz?

Kazakhstani citizens can call a doctor to their place of residence or get registered in medical organizations without DS. The service of calling a doctor to a place of residence is only available for citizens registered in out-patient clinic.

Also, abstracton undergoing the military service will be available along with obtainment of abstracts by citizens having benefits (GPW veterans, liquidators of Chernobyl disaster).
