Answers to questions about housing waiting list are now available on the eGov Mobile app

A new reference block has appeared in the eGov Mobile application: 'Questions on the registration of people in need of housing'. Users can now find answers to the most common questions, such as who is eligible to join the housing waiting list, how long the application review process takes, and whether it is possible to apply if relatives have received housing.

The update coincides with the launch of Otbasybank's new online portal, orken.otbasybank.kz. Applications for queuing can be submitted through this portal from May 24, 2025 onwards. This process is now completely online. Authorization using a DS is required to submit an application.

The Otbasy Bank Housing Centre system is a single digital platform connected to 14 government databases, forming a digital portrait. Information on housing availability, income, family composition and the status of the person in need is checked automatically. The human factor is eliminated and accounting is carried out without manual intervention.

After reviewing the application, the applicant receives an SMS from the number 1414 containing a notification of the decision (approval or rejection).
