5 new services available on eGov.kz for Kazakhstani citizens staying abroad

Now, Kazakhstani citizens staying abroad can register a marriage/divorce, birth of a child, change a name/surname/patronymic and get a death statement on eGov.kz. An issued document is delivered at an embassy or consulate of Kazakhstan abroad. 

The services were implemented by National Information Technologies JSC, Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

“We digitized the services most popular among our fellow citizens living abroad. Now, Kazakhstani citizens can order documents they need via eGov and get them without leaving the country they live in. The services were implemented with engagement of embassies and consulates of Kazakhstan in more then 20 largest countries of the world” commented Rostislav Konyashkin, Chairman of the Board, National Information Technologies JSC.

To register marriage or divorce, in “Family” section of eGov.kz Portal, one needs to find a relevant service, fill in the required fields and upload areceipt certifying payment of consular fee, then sign a request using digital signature or SMS password. Afterwards, a notification requesting approval of a request is sent to a personal account of one of the spouses. S/he fills in the required fields and signs a request. Service delivery term is 1 month. 

To register birth of a child abroad, a user needs to fill in the required fields, upload necessary documents, receipt certifying payment of consular fee and sign a request. Service delivery term is 3 working days. To change name/surname/patronymic, user needs to perform the same actions but service delivery term will be 30 calendar days.

Upon death registration, enter IIN of a deceased, fill in the required fields and sign a request. The service is delivered within 1 working day.
