On February 21-22, in New Delhi (India), the seminar on advanced technologies called “Digital Economy: What Is It and How Can It Transform Asia?” is taking place. The event is hosted by Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), Tokyo ASEAN-India Center (AIC) and Research and Information System for Developing Countries.

On the first day of the event, the experiences of Asian countries in dealing with technologies development were examined together with opportunities of cross-country cooperation. Global experts familiarized themselves with Kazakhstani experience in public services delivery. In one of the sessions, Digital Kazakhstan national program was presented as well as Kazakhstani e-Gov, which is marked 7th in the UN e-Government Development Index among Asian countries and 33rd in the world.

Today, the number of e-services available at eGov.kz portal is 240, among them are proactive services, services that do not require DS, abstracts and so on. eGov.kz portal is available in any part of the country.

Thanks to integration with information systems, which is conducted by NIT JSC, migration to the delivery of composite services under one-stop shop principle is performed, which means that through the use of several integrated ISs, a user can obtain a service submitting only one request without the need to attend several agencies. To date, the company has integrated 157 government agencies` ISs and 32 second-tier banks, insurance companies and KazPost JSC are connected to the payment gateway.
