Over 11 million public services delivered via the eGov Mobile app in 2022

Rostislav Konyashkin, Chairman of the Board, National Information Technologies JSC presented the results of work done on public services smartphoneization during the press conference held at the Central Communications Service.

Following the address of the Head of State, by 2025 100% of public services will be available in the eGov Mobile application. By the end of this year, it is planned to transfer up to 80% of all public services to smartphones. This year, over 11 million public services were delivered via the eGov Mobile app.

In 2022, NIT JSC implemented the capability of signing documents through QR code scan available in the eGov Mobile app. The mechanism is used in signing applications for subsidizing rental housing in "Otbasy Bank", as well as in the personal account of the Supreme Court (sud.kz) for authorization and signing of claims and applications.

Also, a mechanism was implemented to get proactive services for a child birth and assignement of social payments for care after children up to one year. The proactive service is convenient because all the notifications come both to a phone number as SMS and as PUSH in the mobile application. Since the launch of the proactive child birth service, more than 270 thousand people have successfully used it.

"Within a day after a child birth, the information system, having received a notification from a medical institution, will send a push notification to eGov Mobile or an SMS message to a phone number from 1414 to a child's parent with a request to follow the link to get the service. By following the link in eGov Mobile, you need to fill in a child's full name, specify a bank account number for receiving social payments for child care up to one year and sign the service. Parents will save time on paperwork and will be able to devote more time to their child," said Rostislav Konyashkin, Chairman of the Board, National Information Technologies JSC.

It is also planned to launch a new section "Digital Information" in eGov Mobile this December. The service was designed to make information and statements exchange more convenient. For example, a user can use a package of documents, and an employer can request a set of information and employee data without having to request them in paper.

"Shortly, we plan to apply a new approach to provision of statements. That is, transition to sharing digital information on life situations. For instance, if we consider employment, then a citizen can use a package of documents that we have collected for him/her in the application. Moreover, a citizen will be able to send the documents to an employer by sharing them directly in eGov Mobile," said Rostislav Konyashkin, Chairman of the Board, National Information Technologies JSC.

The eGov Mobile app contains 641 public services, of which 167 services are from the eGov.kz portal and 474 services for individuals are from the e-License portal. Monthly, Kazakhstani citizens receive 1.2 million public services through the app.

The Digital Documents service in the eGov mobile app contains 20 documents (national ID, passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, driving license, vaccination passport, PCR test and birth certificate, etc.). Since launch, the Digital Documents service has been used more than 12 million times.

All digital documents can be presented at a place of demand. Also, you can use a digital ID card on the day of the presidential election in all the polling stations.
