Convenient for vehicle owners: eGov mobile app sends PUSH notifications on expiration of technical inspection document

From now on Kazakhstani citizens will receive a new type of PUSH notifications. The messages notify in advance on expiration of a diagnostic technical inspection certificate.

The update enable reminding citizens on expiration of a document 30 days in advance. The received PUSH notifications will be available for viewing in the "Notifications" section of the eGov Mobile app.

If the mobile app is not installed, an SMS will be sent to a user with information on receipt of a new notification from 1414 with a link to download the mobile application.

"Under the "invisible state" concept established by the President, we continue providing citizens with the services they need and notifying them in advance. PUSH notifications are convenient as sent one month in advance and citizens have time to re-issue a new document. Thus, it helps vehicle owners to prevent many risks. To date, 15 types of PUSH notifications for different real-life situations are already available in the eGov Mobile app. In the long term, this number will increase," said Rostislav Konyashkin, Chairman of the Board, National Information Technologies JSC.

Also, a digital document is available in the eGov Mobile app: "Diagnostic technical inspection certificate". The new document contains information about an owner and vehicle and trailers thereto with enumeration of technical condition parameters and results of mandatory technical inspection. If a document expires, it will not be displayed in digital documents.

Now, vehicle owners can provide an electronic document instead of a paper one. Digital technical inspection is available on the homepage of eGov Mobile app in the "Digital Documents" section. A document owner can provide access to it using a QR code, which will help a party requesting the document to verify its authenticity.

A digital document is similar to an original copy of a document. Today, Digital Documents service contains 29 documents, including a national ID, a driving license, a passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, etc.

The updates were implemented thanks to joint cooperation of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Public Services Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Activities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and National Information Technologies JSC.
